What is Bilateral Stimulation?

Bilateral stimulation (BLS) is one of the steps of EMDR, involving an alternating left-right sensory input. It can be achieved by visually following a moving object or by listening to auditory tones.

What is EMDR?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy used to reduce emotional distress. It involves eye-movement exercises coupled with cognitive steps.

How do I use this tool?

For visual stimulus, follow the EMDR ball with your eyes, while keeping your head fixed. For auditory stimulus, listen to the alternating tones. Both can be combined together or used separately.
